Meinl International Power Ltd. (MIP) wird mit einem Inverstitionsvolumen von 87 Milliionen Euro ein Solarpark / Photovoltaik-Park in Andalusien/ Spanien errichten. Unter der Führung der Alpine Deutschland GmbH stehende Arbeitsgemeinschaft (ARGE), wird in der sonnenreichsten Region Europas, ein Projekt entstehen, welches für eine Leistung von 15,4 MWp erzeugen wird.

Die erzeugte Jahresstrommenge von rund 24 Millionen kWh reicht aus, um etwa 6.000 Durchschnittshaushalte zu versorgen. Dazu werden rund 91.000 Photovoltaikmodule auf einer Fläche von 300.000 m2 installiert. Dies entspricht etwa der Größe von 40 Fußballfeldern.
